Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Geschichte Weltgeschichte Frhgeschichte, Antike, Note: 1,0, JustusLiebigUniversitt Gieen, Veranstaltung: Geschlechterverhltnisse in der rmischen Kaiserzeit, 16 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Bezge, die in der Ars Amatoria auf die augusteischen Ehegesetze genommen werden, darzulegen und zu erlutern. Dazu werden, nach einigen einleitenden Worten zu Ovid und seinem zeitgenssischen Umfeld zunchst die Ehegesetze des Augustus sowie die Ars Amatoria genauer dargestellt, um beide Texte anschlieend zu einander in Beziehung zu setzen. Im abschlieenden Fazit wird darber hinaus noch die Frage der tatschlichen Relevanz der Ars Amatoria fr Ovids Verbannung behandelt. Grundlegend fr diese Arbeit ist die den Themenkomplex nach wie vor am umfassendsten behandelnde, von 1979 stammende Publikation von Wilfried Stroh. Darber hinaus dienen die elementaren OvidMonografien von Harzer, Albrecht und Holzberg als Basis. Diverse weitere Zeitschriftenartikel und Monografien flieen ergnzend ein. Als bersetzung zur Ars Amatoria wurde auf die metrische Bearbeitung von Holzberg zurckgegriffen.
