As a tutor, I appreciate how well-structured this book is. The practice problems build on each other nicely, and it's visually appealing. Kids really enjoy working through it, which is a plus!

Helpful but a bit challenging
I bought this book for my son who’s in primary school. He finds some sections a bit hard to grasp right away, but I think it actually helps him think more critically about math. Just wish there were more examples!

Not what I expected
I was hoping for more activities and games in this book. It’s mostly straightforward exercises and my daughter quickly lost interest. It’s good for practice, but I might look for something more engaging next time.

The Practice and Mastery Book 1 is fine for the basics, but I feel like it could go deeper into some topics. It’s good for initial learning, but we’ll need supplementary materials as well.

Great resource for young learners
The Oxford Mathematics Primary Years Programme Practice and Mastery Book 1 is really engaging for my 7-year-old. The exercises are fun, and the layout makes it easy for her to follow along. Definitely a solid foundation for her math skills!
