Ce livre est consacr l'tude de nouveaux oxyhalognures clusters triangulaires et octadriques de niobium. Le cluster triangulaire d'oxychlorure de niobium coiff par un atome de chlore, est significativement dform en raison de la diffrence de rayon des ligands qui pontent ses artes. Chacun de ces ligands est galement reli au sommet d'un cluster voisin. Trois sries doxychlorures clusters octadriques de niobium ont t isols. Le 1er comporte des motifs dans lesquels deux ligands oxygne sont en positions inner tandis que les deux autres sont en positions apicales. Les motifs sont relis par l'intermdiaire des ligands oxygnes innerapicales. Le 2me comporte des motifs qui sont interconnects par des ligands oxygnes innerapicales et se dveloppe selon deux directions. La structure de 3me compos est base sur des motifs isols. Deux atomes de chlore pontent deux atomes de terre rare pour former une entit. Nous discutons l'volution strique et lectronique du motif en fonction du nombre de ligands oxygne par motif et l'influence de ces ligands sur les connexions intermotifs et les sites cationiques.
