She is a cousin of the Wicked Witches of the East and West. Maelstrom possesses a certain amount of evil magic. She teams up with the Nome King to create a spell that threatens Oz The story tests Dorothy and her friends, including the Good Witch, Glinda. It pits Maelstrom and the Nome King against Glindas powerful magic. In this sequel to Oz Odyssey, Dorothy faces new dangers, like the Deadly Desert, and is helped by new friends, like the tiny Zie's, along the way. But defeating the evil plans of Maelstrom and the Nome King won't be easy...
