Created in 1654, New Kent County then encompassed territory included in the present counties of King William, King and Queen, Hanover, and New Kent. This work is a register of births, baptisms, deaths, and marriages from 1682 to 1787 in St. Peter's, an important and historic parish in New Kent County. It contains altogether about 5,000 names.
