Whrend in gewissen Fllen ein Standard angestrebt wird, bevor die Sprache implementiert ist und damit ihre Zweckmigkeit erprobt werden kann, erfolgt sie bei Pascal fast 15 Jahre nach der SprachDefinition. Dies ist reichlich spt, um die in dieser Zeit hervorgegangenen 'Dialekte' und Varianten noch zu beeinflussen. Ein NormungsDokument ist eine trockene Lektre. Die Autoren des Buches sind daher auf die gute Idee gekommen, dieses mit einem einfhrenden Text zusammenzulegen. Damit wird dem Leser die Mglichkeit geboten, gleichzeitig die Konzepte durch einen leichter verstndlichen Text verstehen zu lernen und die Przision des Normentextes zu nutzen. Auch gewhrleistet die Einfhrung einen besseren berblick. Es ist zu hoffen, da sich beide Teile gegenseitig ergnzen und damit zu Beachtung und Erfolg verhelfen.
