Was jedoch, wenn die Vernunft auf diesem Wege nicht nur vor den Gerichtshof der Vernunft" , sondern schlussendlich auf das Schafott der Wissenschaften gelangt? Was bedeutet ein Wissenschaftsverstndnis fr die Welt, das einen nicht unerheblichen Teil aller mglichen Fragen, u. a. Fragen nach dem Sollen des Menschen, zunchst nur methodisch ausblendet, ihn dann aber durch den eigenen Fortschritt fr berwunden und somit obsolet erklrt, ihn zur spekulativen Metaphysik abstempelt, derer man sich tunlichst zu enthalten habe? Was ist von einer Wissenschaft zu halten, die, um ihrer selbstgesetzten prskriptiven Standards Willen, sich normativer Aussagen enthlt, sich aber auch jeder Verantwortung fr ihr Handeln und Denken entzieht? Und wie kommen Generationen ohne Kommunikation dieser lstigen Fragen aus, weil sie in Vergessenheit geraten sind, denn, worber man nicht sprechen kann, darber soll man schweigen". Sptestens an dieser Stelle tritt die pdagogische Dimension des beschriebenen Dilemmas zutage. Kann pdagogisches Denken diese lstigen SollensFragen ignorieren, um in der Familie der Wissenschaften willkommen zu sein oder gibt es eine Lesart von Normativitt, die es pdagogischem Denken erlaubt, SollensFragen zu stellen und normative Antworten zu geben, und dennoch Wissenschaft zu bleiben?
