The growth of the digital multimedia technology and development of the internet allow people to process, deliver and store information more easily. Digital images can be easily captured by digital cameras and due to ease of network connectivity, the access and sharing of images has become extremely feasible and convenient. Copyright protection of these images can be done by using digital image watermarking, watermarking is embedding a identification logo into cover image for its protection. Most of the existing image watermarking techniques is implemented for grey scale images, in this book attempt has been made to use existing grey scale watermarking techniques for color images. Four types of watermarking techniques are presented in this book, i.e. (1) Spread spectrum and correlation (2) Modified wavelet tree quantization (MWTQ) (3) Integer wavelet transforms (IWT) (4) Set Partitioning in Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT). The wavelet let transform is applied to blue plane of color image to embed the watermark. Performance of these techniques is evaluated in terms of PSNR, MSE, NCC, BCR, ET and RT. The techniques are performing well with and without attacks.
