I bought this book for my son who is just getting into sailing. The tips and techniques are clear and easy to understand, perfect for someone new to the sport. We’ve already tried a few suggestions and notice a difference in our speed!

Not what I expected
I was a bit disappointed with this book. It focuses a lot on theory but lacks practical hands-on tips for actual racing situations. I was hoping for some more actionable advice. Might work for the more experienced sailor, but not ideal for me.

Informative but densely packed
The book has a lot of information on sailing and racing, which is great, but it feels a bit overwhelming at times. I appreciate the insights, but I was hoping for more practical examples to accompany them. Still, I learned quite a bit!
