Reentry, the experience of returning to one?s home country after a sojourn, involves a psychological and social readjustment that may include reentry distress. Since most literature focuses on single reentry experiences, little is known of the salient reentry issues for sojourners who have reentered more than once during their twenties. This interpretive phenomenological study looks at the latest reentry experience of those who repeatedly sojourned and reentered during emerging adulthood developmental stage. The findings add depth to the reentry literature by offering firsthand accounts of those who experiences latest reentry during emerging adulthood and they inform clinical practice and program development.
