In Wiens Integrationskindergrten arbeiten neben PsychologInnen, SonderkindergartenpdagogInnen, SonderhortpdagogInnen und SprachheilpdagogInnen auch pdiatrische PhysiotherapeutInnen der MA 10. Die pdiatrische Physiotherapie wird wie auch die allgemeine Physiotherapie klar der Medizin zugeordnet. Wirft man jedoch einen Blick auf das alltgliche Arbeiten der pdiatrischen PhysiotherapeutInnen, scheinen mehrere berschneidungen mit der Heilpdagogik hinsichtlich des Gegenstands und Aufgabenbereiches gegeben. Auch die Auseinandersetzung mit sowohl heilpdagogischer als auch pdiatrischphysiotherapeutischer Fachliteratur zeigt die teilweise durchlssigen Grenzen und die berschneidungen zwischen Heilpdagogik und pdiatrischer Physiotherapie. Vor dem Hintergrund langjhriger Erfahrung und der theoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Thema entwickelte sich die Fragestellung, die dieser Studie zugrunde liegt: Wie erleben PhysiotherapeutInnen der MA 10, Fachbereich mobile Entwicklungsfrderung, ihr Handeln im Spannungsfeld zwischen Heilpdagogik und Medizin? Hierfr wurden Physiotherapeutinnen der MA 10 befragt (halbstandardisiertes Interview, StrukturLegeTechnik), wobei die Auswertung der gewonnenen Daten (qualitative Inhaltsanalyse) zeigt, dass die befragten Physiotherapeutinnen das Spannungsfeld zwischen Heilpdagogik und Medizin an ihrer Arbeitsstelle nicht bewusst erleben und dementsprechend unreflektiert agieren. Zudem zeigte sich, dass sich die befragten Physiotherapeutinnen durch die medizinische Ausbildung fr ihre spezielle Arbeit nicht ausreichend ausgebildet fhlen. Sie versuchen, fehlende Kenntnisse durch ihre Erfahrungen im privaten Bereich auszugleichen. Aus diesen zentralen Ergebnissen kann man schlieen, dass die Kinder, die in einem Integrationskindergarten der Stadt Wien untergebracht sind, nicht optimal betreut werden. Das unreflektierte und damit unprofessionelle Agieren der befragten Physiotherapeutinnen zeigt den groen Handlungsbedar
