El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo disminuir la cantidad de llantas acumuladas en los principales municipios del departamento de CochabambaBolivia, evitando de esta forma los problemas ambientales que conlleva la acumulacin de las mismas. Las llantas usadas sern trituradas obteniendo de ellas granulado de caucho, aprovechando la oferta se establece la demanda del producto como aditivo asfaltico, las ventajas que trae consigo la utilizacin de un 3 25% de granulado de caucho en la mezcla asfltica inciden de manera importante en comparacin al incremento del 5 al 10% en los costos de produccin de mezcla asfltica. Por todo lo anteriormente mencionado, se hizo un trabajo conjunto con el consorcio alemn MAN FERROSTAAL BOLIVIA LTDA, quienes a travs de la empresa ELDAN RECYCLING pudieron otorgar informacin para poder llevar a cabo el proyecto con datos totalmente reales y factibles. El proyecto se realiz en base a un estudio de 10 aos de vida, que de acuerdo a los indicadores econmicos, es un proyecto rentable y muy interesante para la coyuntura Boliviana por el impacto econmico y ambiental que presenta.
