I expected more from this book. While there are some good techniques, the performance studies were less engaging than I thought they would be. Might suit beginners better than intermediate players like myself.

As a beginner trumpet player, I find this Volume 1 super helpful. The techniques are broken down well, and I love that it builds up my skills gradually. I’m excited to get through it and see where it takes me!

This volume offers some solid performance studies, but I found myself wishing for more musical examples throughout. It’s still a good reference for techniques, just not as in-depth as I had hoped. Worth the buy if you're serious about improving though!
