This collection of poems by the widely published poet and literary critic Martin Tucker is the culmination of his poetic musings on life, ranging from family issues, to the major events in life, to man's ultimate confrontation with his own mortality and those of the ones he's loved. Sensitivity, humor, and pathos characterize Tucker's poetry. This is a collection of some published and some new poems, but in the aggregate it is Tucker's definitive poetic statement. Martin Tucker is the author of several literary studies and his a widely published poet, with three collections in print Homes of Locks and Mysteries (1982), Attention Spans (1997) and While There Is Time: Penultimate Poems (2005).
