La presente edicin crtica aade a la obra potica reunida, La realidad y el deseo, toda la obra dispersa en verso, incluyendo textos totalmente inditos. Tambin se han incorporado a esta edicin los dos libros de poemas en prosa, Ocnos y Variaciones sobre tema mexicano, lo que permite por primera vez una lectura en conjunto de toda su produccin potica.
