Se publica en libro por primera vez, ms o menos a los setenta y seis aos de su escritura, este conjunto de 155 poemas juveniles conservados primero por Federico Garca Lorca durante toda su vida y por sus familiares despus, tras la muerte del poeta en 1936. Como se trata de textos nunca editados y esto vale incluso para la veintena de poemas publicados anteriormente, aunque no por Garca Lorca, podemos hablar de una verdadera 'editio princeps', a partir nica y exclusivamente de datos manuscritos autgrafos, crticamente depurada y con una solucin razonable y razonada de los problemas textuales. Estos 155 poemas constituyen, pues, un 'fondo' excepcional: primero como vestigios significativos de las primeras selecciones realizadas tempranamente por el autor; al mismo tiempo como reserva constituida y conservada con orden y cuidado por su voluntad; ms tarde como referencia para la obra ulterior del autor; y finalmente como base insustituible para un nuevo alcance en la autntica acogida del conjunto de la produccin lorquiana.
