Wenngleich das Screenplay des Films sein Thema eindeutig satirisch berzeichnet, ist es nur eine Darstellung von in der Medien und PRWissenschaft schon lnger bekannten Konzepten und Strategien. In folgender Arbeit sollen entsprechend die wissenschaftlichen Theorien und PRStrategien, die der Film illustriert, anhand der Umsetzung im Film aufgezeigt werden, um das Verhltnis zwischen Politik, Medien und Gesellschaft anschaulich zu erlutern. Gem der Natur des Filmes wird der Schwerpunkt der Analyse auf der Manipulierbarkeit der ffentlichkeit durch gezielte Medienmanipulation liegen. Zu diesem Zweck soll zu forderst die Rolle der Medien bei der Herstellung von ffentlichkeit und der Wahrnehmung der Wirklichkeit unter dem Stichwort Konstruktion der Realitt' errtert werden. Die Medien werden dabei auch in ihrer Funktion als Bindeglied zwischen Politik und Gesellschaft analysiert. Kern dieses Teils ist die Beziehung zwischen Medien und Gesellschaft bzw. der Public Opinion. Ziel ist es dabei, die konkrete Bedeutung der Medien fr die Politik herauszuarbeiten. Unter dem zweiten Stichwort Realitt der Konstruktion' sollen die funktionalen Verschrnkungen zwischen Medien und Politik aufgezeigt werden, die die Manipulation der Medien erst ermglichen. Politische PR wird dabei in ihren Strategien untersucht und die gezielte Beeinflussung der Medien durch die Kenntnis ihrer Funktionsmechanismen anhand von Beispielen des Filmes nahegebracht.
