I was excited to get the Spanish edition of Polvo, but I found some parts were a bit challenging for younger kids. It’s a nice book overall, but I think the language could be simplified a bit.

Beautifully Illustrated but Damaged on Arrival
I loved the artwork in Polvo, but unfortunately, the book arrived with a dent on the cover. I was really disappointed because it’s for a gift. The story itself is fantastic and engaging, just wished it had arrived in better condition.

I think Polvo is a clever book, but it might be a bit too complex for younger children who are new to Spanish. My older kids enjoyed it, but I had to explain a few passages. Mixed feelings, honestly.
