Over the years, biodegradable polymers have gained mutual interests due to continual environmental pollution caused by nondegradable polymers. This book emphasises on the blending of biodegradable polymers, namely poly(3hydroxybutyrateco3hydroxyvalerate) and oil palm empty fruit bunch fibers. The properties of the resulting blends and possible leached toxic chemicals from the biocomposites were studied.
