Pouri is a wealthy and spirited Taiwanese "parachute kid" who's raising herself, alone, in a mansion on the outskirts of L.A. She hasn't been to school in years and pays a seatwarmer to attend for her. Mac is a nerdy slangjunkie/busboy he's the ninth most prolific contributor to an online, usergenerated website of urban jargon. Youth slang is his freedom song.
