Now in its Third Edition, this classic text and reference book, written by a wellknown Wiley author, is intended mainly for onesemester advanced undergraduate and undergrad/graduate introductory courses in nonparametric (or distribution free) statistics. The book will also appeal to applied research workers as a quick reference to the most useful nonparametric methods.
⚠️ WARNING (California Proposition 65):
This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer,
birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
I appreciate the structured approach of this book, but I felt some topics were a bit rushed. It’s user-friendly for beginners, but I was hoping for more in-depth analysis on certain nonparametric tests. Still, it’s a solid reference overall.

Helpful Book for Statisticians
Practical Nonparametric Statistics is packed with great examples and clear explanations. I’m using it for my research projects, and it’s been really instrumental in guiding my analysis. I’d say it’s worth the investment!

Great Introduction to Nonparametric Methods
This textbook is ideal for those new to nonparametric statistics! The layout is nice, and it covers a good variety of tests. I especially liked the sections on rank tests. It's not too dense, which is perfect for my students.
