Das vorliegende Buch beschreibt den neuesten Stand der Netzplantechnik mit deterministischen Vorgangsknotennetzen. Es wendet sich an Praktiker der Planung und des Projektmanagements. Besonderer Wert wurde auf Krze, bersichtlichkeit und Anschaulichkeit der Darstellung gelegt; auf mathematische Formulierungen wurde weitgehend verzichtet, dafr jedoch eine praxisnahe Kommentierung angestrebt. Zugunsten der Vollstndigkeit wurden auch selten angewendete Darstellungsmglichkeiten und Arbeits verfahren aufgenommen. Einfache Grundkenntnisse der Netzplantechnik werden vorausgesetzt und im ersten Abschnitt kurz umrissen. Wer sich dieses Wissen erst erwerben will, wird auf den Leitfaden 'Einfache Netzplantechnik' des gleichen Verfassers (earl Hanser Verlag, Mnchen 1971) hingewiesen, der gen au den Stoff be handelt, von dem hier als bekannt ausgegangen wird. Die Bezeichnungsweise der Fachbegriffe entspricht der DINNorm 69900 und den Empfehlungen der Deutschen Gesellschaft fr Operations Research; nur an einigen Stellen muten neue Begriffe hinzugenommen werden. Die Darstellung ist nicht an bestimmte EDVProgramme gebunden. Sie soll dem Leser, der vor praktischen Planungsproblemen steht, vielmehr Anregungen und Erfahrungen mit den methodischen Lsungsmglichkeiten der leistungs fhigsten Netzplanart sowie manche Kniffe vermitteln, mit denen er auch aus den ihm verfgbaren EDVProgrammen stets den besten Nutzen fr seine Anwendungsflle ziehen kann.
