Este trabajo presenta los resultados de la investigacin denominada "Prcticas pedaggicas de los docentes de la facultad de Ciencias Administrativas en la Fundacin Universitaria los Libertadores que fortalecen el ejercicio ciudadano de los estudiantes" una aplicacin de la teora fundamentada, que fue concluida en el segundo semestre de 2008 como tesis de maestria en la Universidad de la Salle en la ciudad de Bogot, Colombia. Se presenta como una aplicacin de la Teora Fundamentada, en la medida que utiliza en forma parcial procedimientos y aplicaciones de dicho enfoque metodolgico con la pretensin de construir teora a partir de la recopilacin de datos cualitativos obtenidos mediante entrevistas a un grupo de docentes. Con el propsito de orientar al lector en la comprensin y entendimiento de la teora construida, el documento presenta las teoras de partida desde las cuales el grupo investigador abord el camino de construccin terica y la metodologa seguida para construirla. En la parte final del documento se presenta el captulo de validacin terica y de prospectiva de la investigacin
