There were plenty of mammals living in the time of the dinosaurs, although many of them also appeared after the dinosaurs became extinct. Some even resemble mammals we know today, like the Platybelodon. This eyecatching creature looked a lot like an elephant, except for its two huge bottom teeth, which archeologists believe were used as a shovel and tool to strip bark

I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a bent cover and a few pages crinkled. The content looked good, but I wish it had come in better condition. I'm a bit let down.

Great for dinosaur enthusiasts!
I got this for my son who can't get enough of dinosaurs. The illustrations are vibrant and the information is really engaging. He loves discovering new prehistoric creatures every night before bed!

Interesting but a bit basic
This book has some cool info about prehistoric mammals and dinosaurs, but I expected a little more depth. It’s great for kids, but I think older kids might find it a tad simple. Still a fun read!
