Technique 5 continues and expands on the technical and artistic tools learned in Technique books 1A4. The six new Technique Tools introduced are: Even Sixteenth Notes, Playing Grace Notes, Body Balance, Over and Back, Building Scale Velocity, and Sustained Notes. Artistic Etudes showcase a students technique in an expressive musical setting, and HandsTogether Workshops focus on developing the skills necessary for coordinating handstogether playing. Masterwork Etudes provide training to play standard masterworks. Each page in the Technique Book correlates with a specific page in the Lesson Book.

The Premier Piano Course Technique Book 5 has some fantastic exercises, but I found some parts a little repetitive. It’s still a good resource for techniques, just wish there was more variety in the pieces. Overall, it’s useful for my lessons but could use a little more creativity.

Came damaged, not happy about it
I was really looking forward to starting the Premier Piano Course Technique Book 5, but when it arrived, the cover was slightly torn. I still tried to use it, but it's frustrating. I think the content is great, but the packaging could have been better. Disappointed with the delivery.
