Als elementare Zielsetzung des Reformvorhabens kann neben der Einfhrung internationaler Rechnungslegungsstandards die Realisierung einer adquaten Qualittssicherung der Abschlussprfung hervorgehoben werden. Vor dem Hintergrund einer zunehmenden Kapitalmarktorientierung besteht ein verstrktes Interesse der Jahresabschlussadressaten an einer ganzheitlichen Betrachtung und Bewertung der Unternehmenssituation. Da sich eine (konventionelle) stichtags und vergangenheitsorientierte Informationspolitik fr eine umfassende Beurteilung als ungengend erweist, besteht zustzlich das Ziel der Adressaten, eine umfassende Chancen und Risikoberichterstattung zu erreichen. Obwohl der Gesetzgeber bereits im Rahmen des Gesetztes zur Kontrolle und Transparenz im Unternehmensbereich (KonTraG) interveniert hat, stellte sich insbesondere die (Konzern) Lageberichterstattung weiterhin als nicht ausreichend aussagekrftig dar. Die nderungen durch das BilReG waren somit aufgrund der bestehenden Erwartungslcke zwingend erforderlich. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll speziell dieser dynamischen Entwicklung der Lageberichterstellung und den damit verbundenen Anforderungen an die Wirtschaftsprfung Rechnung tragen. Neben der Einleitung erfolgt eine Untergliederung in vier weitere Kapitel. Zielsetzung des 2. Kapitels ist es zunchst ein Grundverstndnis fr die Thematik der Lageberichterstattung zu schaffen.
