Ausgangspunkt der berlegungen soll die aktuelle Diskussion um die Stellung des Hausarztes im Gesundheitsversorgungssystem der BRD sowie die Darstellung der Problematik der Gesundheitsreform 2000. Im folgenden werde ich den Begriff Primary Health Care nher beleuchten. Ausgehen mchte ich eine bersicht ber die ambulante Versorgung und die Stufen geben medizinischer Versorgung geben. Im folgenden mchte ich eine Definition des Begriffes Primary Health Care herausstellen, sowie problemorientiert mgliche begriffliche sowie hinsichtlich der Umsetzung von Primary Health Care auftretende Probleme aufzeigen. Zur Annherung an das Hausarztsprinzip werde ich die grundlegenden Zge der Allgemeinmedizin herausstellen, sowie die Funktionen des Hausarztes1 herausstellen. Bercksichtigung sollen hierbei sowohl die historische Entwicklung als auch die aktuelle Problematik gewinnen. Auerdem werde ich einige alternative Konzepte der Primrversorgung unter kritischer Beleuchtung vorstellen. Abschlieend mchte ich eine eigene, wertende Position entwickeln, die die mgliche Bedeutsamkeit von Hausarztprinzip einerseits und Primrversorgung andererseits mit Hinblick auf die Gesundheitsversorgung der Zukunft problematisiert.
