Dabei wird fr ein besseres Verstndnis neben einer anfnglichen aktuellen Problemstellung der Gegenstand auch in einen kurzen sozialen Kontext eingegliedert. Ein Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit soll auf die Vorstellung sowie der ethischen Reflexion der wissenschaftlichtechnischen Probleme sowie den biologischen Grenzen, die mit der PID verbunden sind, gelegt werden. Ein Hauptaugenmerk wird dabei der Fragestellung gewidmet sein, inwieweit die mglichen gesundheitlichen Risiken fr die betroffenen Frauen und Kinder sowie die daraus resultierenden sozialen, rechtlichen und besonderes auch ethischen Implikationen in der Gesellschaft reflektiert werden. Im Speziellen soll dabei ein grundstzlicher Blick auf das Machbare und das Nichtmachbare sowie auf das Wnschenswerte und das Nichtwnschenswerte im Zusammenhang mit dem fiktiven Ruf nach genetisch perfekten Kindern durch eine Aufarbeitung der aktuellen biomedizinischen Fortschritte geworfen werden, indem auch der Frage nachgegangen werden soll, in wieweit die neuartigen Qualitten, welche die PID in das Handlungsfeld der genetischen Untersuchung einbringt, den Umgang mit dem werdenden menschlichen Lebens zuknftig verndern knnte.
