This outstanding text introduces the principles and techniques of radiographic imaging. The text is organized into five units which take the student from creating the beam through creating and analyzing the image. Various exposure systems are thoroughly explained, as well as special imaging modalities. Important concepts in basic physics, radiation protection, and Xray equipment are covered. Emphasis is placed on practical approaches to help students create an acceptable image for proper diagnosis. This book should be of interest to students/trainees in radiography and radiographic imaging. [via]

I bought this book for my radiography course, and while it covers a lot, a couple of chapters felt a bit confusing. I had to read them multiple times to grasp the concepts fully. Still, it's a handy guide overall.

Not what I expected, a bit outdated
I was hoping for a more modern take on radiographic imaging. Some sections seem a bit outdated, which was disappointing. It’s still informative, but I think I'll look for newer references next time.
