Ja, teilweise stand das Gebet gar symbolisch fr das zerttete Verhltnis zwischen beiden Religionen. Mit dem Zweiten Vatikanischen Konzil und der spteren Revision des Frbitttextes schien dieser Umstand mehr ein Fall fr kirchen u liturgiegeschichtlie Abhandlungen geworden zu sein. Mit dem Motu proprio "Summorum ponticum" Papst Benedikt XVI. bzw. einer zustzzlen Frbitte r den auerordentlien Ritus der Messfeier jedoch kamen Befrchtungen auf, dass eben jene Problematik wieder aktuell sei. Die Arbeit vollzieht den Werdegang der Frbitte von einem Beispiel von Antijudaismus in der Liturgie hin zu einem Beispiel einer neuen Israeltheologie nach und stellt sich der Frage, ob die neue (alte?) Frbitte fr den usus antiquior ein Schritt hinter die Frbitte von 1970 ist.
