About the Author Die Herausgeber: Michaela Pfadenhauer, geboren 1968, ist Professorin fr Soziologie an der Universitt Karlsruhe/KIT. Sie ist Sprecherin der Sektion Professionssoziologie in der Gesellschaft fr Soziologie (DGS). Zur Zeit arbeitet sie zu Fragen des Kompetenzerwerbs und zum Posttraditionalismus. Thomas Scheffer, geboren 1967, ist Heisenbergstipendiat. Er ist Sprecher der Sektion Rechtssoziologie in der Gesellschaft fr Soziologie (DGS). Bis zum Sommer 2009 leitete er eine EmmyNoetherNachwuchsgruppe zur Mikrosoziologie von Strafverfahren an der Freien Universitt Berlin. Zur Zeit forscht und lehrt er am Institut fr Europische Ethnologie zur Ethnographie des Parlamentarismus.
