Vorgestellt wird eine neue Perspektive kontextbezogener empirischer Supervisionsforschung, die sich als Teil sozialwissenschaftlicher Beratungsforschung versteht und der rekonstruktiven Sozialforschung zuzuordnen ist. Die Studie zeigt auf der Basis von Fallrekonstruktionen, wie Reorganisationsprozesse im NonProfitBereich in der arbeitsweltbezogenen Reflexionsform Supervision als individuelle berufliche Orientierungs und Entwicklungsnotwendigkeiten zum Ausdruck kommen. Als neue Eckpfeiler der Anforderungen an professionelles Handeln erweisen sich eine grere strukturelle Selbststeuerung der Arbeit auf der einen Seite und eine Orientierung an standardisierten Qualittskriterien auf der anderen. Professionstheoretisch wird deshalb die Spezifik professionellen Handelns im Sozial und Gesundheitswesen neu diskutiert. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser empirischen und theoretischen Analysen werden Entwicklungslinien aufgezeigt, mit denen das supervisorische Setting der Mehrperspektivitt zu flexibilisieren und gleichzeitig zu strken ist. Dies kann nur gelingen, so die These, wenn die Debatte zur Professionalisierung von und durch Supervision um eine sozialpolitische Dimension erweitert wird.
