Auf dieser Grundlage wird die Entwicklungsgeschichte der "Sucht" als gesellschaftliches Problem und Erkrankung von der Antike bis in die Gegenwart nachgezeichnet und in kulturelle Prozesse eingebettet. Am Beispiel von zwei "Chronisch Mehrfachbeeintrchtigt Abhngigkeitskranken" wird die Entstehung und Festigung "schtiger Muster" ber drei Generationen hinweg rekonstruiert und im Kontext gesellschaftlicher Prozesse wie Krieg und Vertreibung dargestellt. Moderne Gesellschaften bertragen die Behandlung ihrer sozialen Probleme an die Soziale Arbeit. Sie verbinden damit die Forderung nach effizienten Lsungsanstzen und die nachhaltige Verbesserung problematischer Lebenslagen. Ist professionelles Handeln in der Sozialen Arbeit vor dem Hintergrund gesellschaftlicher Rechtfertigungszwnge und brokratischer Regeln mglich? In dieser Arbeit wird ein Lsungsansatz fr professionelles Handeln in der Sozialen Arbeit zwischen gesellschaftlichem Mandat und der direkten Zusammenarbeit mit den Klienten entwickelt.
