El presente trabajo se realiza en un bachillerato tecnolgico de Tuxpan Veracruz Mxico. Y se planeta la creacin de un instrumento de evaluacin docente basado en competencias, que darn la pauta sobre el desempeo como docente. La teora curricular en la cual se basa el trabajo es una propuesta curricular de Stenhouse. El instrumento que se diseo es una escala tipo Likert con un total de 25 preguntas, de las cuales 24 corresponden a las 8 dimensiones que representan las 8 competencias, a cada dimensin le corresponden 3 preguntas. y una pregunta extra integradora que globaliza la concepcin del alumno con respecto al docente. La informacin que se optimen de este instrumento debe de servir de base para un anlisis de las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas de los docentes y as retroalimentarlos en el desempeo y mejorar la calidad educativa y poder tener un diagnstico. Es responsabilidad de directivos, tomar en cuenta los resultados para fines motivacionales en el caso de los mejores resultados, incentivar a los docentes y el caso de los valores bajos apoyarlos mediante cursos que mejoren su desempeo frente a los alumnos.
