En este libro se detalla un anlisis de variabilidad y se determina la potencial interaccin de dos protenas del PRSV involucradas en su transmisin por fidos: CP & HCPro a travs de tcnicas de ingeniera gentica que incluyen herramientas de bioinformtica y biologa molecular; integrando una serie de mtodos y conocimientos que permiten estimar la historia evolutiva de los productos CP & HCPro de la partcula viral, y a su vez, se puede comprender mejor la estructura y dinmica poblacional del virus. Un estudio que colabora con la estimacin del origen de las epidemias y permite as inferir acerca de alternativas de control para evitar prdidas en estos cultivos de gran importancia econmica a nivel mundial.
