Prfungsangst etc. die Rede. Besonders Letztgenanntes spielt in unserer von Wettbewerb gprgten und leistungsorientierten Gesellschaft zweifellos eine groe Rolle. Doch auch auf Angststrungen mit Trennungs oder sozialer Angst trifft man gerade im jngeren Schulalter hufig. Die Schulangst mit ihren Folgen allen voran dem Schulabsentismus stellt die heutige Gesellschaft vor schwerwiegende Probleme, so verlassen z.B. immer mehr Jugendliche infolge von Lernproblmen die Schule ohne Schulabschluss, wodurch als Konsequenz auerordentliche Folgekosten entstehen, die augenscheinlich in den nchsten Jahren noch zunehmen werden. Darber hinaus berichten Beratungsstellen von Anzeichen wie Depressionen, Konzentrationsmangel, Schlafstrungen, belkeit, Magenschmerzen und Herzklopfen, die sie mit der Schule in Verbindung bringen. In dieser Arbeit wird zunchst einmal der Begriff Angst definiert, um darzustellen welche Grnde zu Angst in der Schule fhren und in diesem Kontext die am hufigsten auftretenden Phnomene verschiedener Angststrungen, neben der Schulangst im speziellen, zu erfassen und die Zusammenhnge zwischen ihnen zu beschreiben. Weiterhin werden Theorien und Erklrungsanstze zum Thema Schulangst aufgezeigt und Verfahren zur Angstmessung vorgestellt. Der Fokus liegt schlielich darin, notwendige Mglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, wie insbesondere Einfluss auf Angst in der Schule genommen und reagiert werden kann und nicht zuletzt schon im Vorfeld, z.B. durch angstfreie Erziehung, prventiv vorzugehen wre, denn gerade in diesem Bereich wird immer noch zu viel ber die Erzeugung
