About the Author Der Autor Wolfgang M. A. Bessel wurde am 3.6.1942 in Herne geboren. Gymnasium in Herne. Nach der Bundeswehrzeit folgte eine Ausbildung im steuerberatenden Beruf. 35 Jahre wirkte er als Generalvertreter einer groen Versicherung in Remscheid und trat mit 60 Jahren in den Ruhestand. Wolfgang M. A. Bessel entdeckte seine Liebe zum Schreiben am Strand von Ibiza. Hier etablierte er im Sommer 2006 die erste "Lesenacht fr Autoren". Sein Buch "Pttmann auf Ibiza drauf" ist dort bereits Kult. Im Dezember 2006 erschien sein zweites Buch "Pttmanns ehrliche Grabreden". Auf Anhieb schickte ihm der KosmosVerlag einen Autorenvertrag fr sein Manuskript "Achtung! Treiber Pttmann kommt". Das Buch erscheint dort im Sommer 2007. Reisen in alle Erdteile, der berufliche Umgang mit vielen Menschen, die Erlebnisse als "HalbResident" auf Ibiza, und seine Passion als Jger prgen seine Geschichten.
