I was curious about the Purgatory Funeral Cakes book, but I wasn't too impressed. Some of the ideas are fun, but I found some recipes a bit odd. It’s definitely not your typical cookbook. Might work better for a niche audience!

I thought this would be more of a cookbook with traditional recipes. Instead, it's more about themed cakes for specific situations. The ideas are creative, but I had a hard time figuring out how to implement some suggestions. Definitely a unique angle!
