I ordered this thinking it would be more of a narrative but it reads more like an academic text. I had a tough time getting through it, and it arrived with a dent on the cover, which was disappointing. It's okay but not for everyone.

Informative but Lacks a Personal Touch
Overall, I found this book on Russian PMCs quite informative. The author did a great job on the facts, but I was hoping for more personal stories or interviews. If you're into political science, you'll likely enjoy it a lot more than I did.
