The book effectively presents the teachings of an accomplished and knowledgeable mystic, now retired from the world. I was hoping for a lighter introduction to Kabbalah, but this book is quite dense and heavy on the theology. It's well-researched, but I had trouble getting into it. Just didn't match what I was looking for; it also took a while to arrive.
