Rebecca calls her paintings 'Quiltscapes' because they were inspired by the names of traditional quilt patterns. The author says, 'As an artist, I fully appreciate the composition and design talent it took to create the beautiful quilt patterns. It is my goal to honor the women who created the designs and to teach others the names of the patterns.' Making these historic quilt patterns will be fun for all ages. As an artistic and visual delight, it will also make a great gift for quiltmakers and for those who simply admire beautiful quilts.
