Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen berblick der momentanen Situation in der Landschaftsarchitektur in Europa zu geben. Es soll aufgezeigt werden, welche Entwicklung der Berufsstand genommen hat und wie er mit diesem geschichtlichen Potential heute umgeht. Die Darstellung erfolgt in Form eines Abrisses und einer kurzen Vorstellung innovativer, junger Bros, die sich um den deutschen Markt bemhen. Als Grundlage werden die jeweiligen Beispielprojekte vorgestellt und auf ihre Innovativitt und Originalitt hin untersucht. Nachfolgend werden anhand von Beispielen aus anderen europischen Lndern der Zeitgeist und deren Impulse im Aufgabenfeld der Landschaftsarchitektur aufgezeigt. Letztere Darstellung, ebenso wie die Vorstellung der Landschaftsarchitekturgemeinschaften und arbeitsgruppen, dient auf Grund des begrenzten Rahmens dieser Studienarbeit lediglich als Kurzbersicht und bedarf einer weiteren Abhandlung.
