De excidio Thuringiae (531), die lateinische Quelle, wird hier erstmals in Deutsch wiedergegeben. Radegunde berblickt ihren 'kniglichen Weg' ber Athies, Saix, Soissons, Arles, Poitiers. Man fhrt in die nach ihr benannten Orte in Frankreich und im deutschen Sprachgebiet. Von Venantius Fortunatus werden zahlreiche lateinische Dichtungen fr die Volkskunde (u.a.) ber das erste Krankenhaus in Europa und das erste Frauenkloster (in Poitiers) mit deutschen bersetzungen herangezogen. Radegundes lateinisches Testament (mit deutscher bersetzung) und Portraits folgen, darunter erstmals die Glasscheibe des Thomme von Fillistorf (1499). O. Brinckmann und Nicolai Hartmann. Wissenschaftliche UniversittsAssistentin bei Karl Chr. von Loesch (19431945); an der Freien Universitt Berlin bei Richard Thurnwald (19511953). Dort Lehrbeauftragte fr Deutsche und Europische Volkskunde (19531960). Freiberufliche Dozentin von 1960 bis 1964 und ab 1977. Arbeit und Studien in Tunesien (19641971).
