Auch setzte sich das Lied gegenber dem zeitweiligen Verbot durch das NSRegime durch und blieb somit Projektionsflche fr die Hoffnung sehr vieler Hrer. Der Erfolg, die Aura und die Durchsetzungskraft dieses Liedes, aber auch dessen Rolle im Machtgefge der Nationalsozialisten bilden das vordergrndige Thema in Rainer Werner Fassbinders Film LILI MARLEEN. RWF, der Filmemacher, der als das Herz des Neuen Deutschen Filmes bezeichnet wurde, bewirkte mit den umstrittenen Bildern dieses Filmes Publikumsreaktionen beim westdeutschen Publikum, die gemischt aus faszinierender Verblffung, erschreckter Faszination und entwaffneter Frustration' bestanden. Die vorliegende Arbeit wird nach einem Rckblick in die Geschichte des Liedes Einblick in die Geschichte von Rundfunk und Schlager innerhalb der nationalsozialistischen Kulturpolitik geben. Auf Grundlage des historisch belegten Hintergrundes und einer Analyse des Liedtextes werden in erster Linie Fassbinders Film LILI MARLEEN, genauer dessen sthetik und Gestaltung untersucht. Nach der Einordnung dieser Filmproduktion in Biografie und uvre des exotischen Filmemachers der 70er Jahre, stellen die folgenden Kapitel die inhaltlichen Zusammenhnge heraus und untersuchen in einem kurzen Exkurs die Rolle von Fiktion und Realitt im Film. An die Untersuchung der dramatischen Grobstruktur, der melodramatischen Eigenschaften und des Einflusses Douglas Sirks, Fassbinders vterlicher Identifikationsfigur, schliet sich eine Analyse der groen Auftritte Willies
