Histricamente, bajo formas de dominacin amparadas en la utilidad y el poder, los distintos modelos organizacionales han supeditado el desarrollo individual al bienestar colectivo, conduciendo a los sujetos al gradual desmoronamiento de sus valores fundamentales. Sobre la base de estos cuestionamientos se explor la estructura moral que rige en las organizaciones, para fundamentar el modo de alcanzar la confluencia de principios mnimos de convivencia basados en la racionalidad y el respeto. La investigacin revel que en el marco de pensamiento postmoderno, los fundamentos ticos de las decisiones slo encuentran sustento en el respeto a la diversidad moral y en la legitimacin de mltiples realidades convergentes en un mismo espacio social, requirindose un urgente proceso de socializacin de todos los actores morales en funcin de las capacidades de relacionamientos que se exhiban.
