Rose Pastor Stokes's story is such an important part of history! I appreciated the details about her life and activism. The book is a great reminder of how far we've come and how much more work there is to do. It's definitely a keeper for those who love historical biographies.

Disappointed with the Writing Style
I was really excited to read this but found the writing style a bit off-putting. The story of Rose Pastor Stokes is fascinating, but I felt like it didn't flow well. It was hard to stay engaged at times. Maybe it’ll be better for others, but it wasn’t for me.
