This light novel is engaging, but I found some sections in vol 2 dragged on a bit. The transition from Heroking to squire could have been paced better. Still, the world-building is impressive and I’m looking forward to the next part!

Not what I expected, somewhat disappointing
I was excited for this sequel, but I felt it didn't capture the magic of the first volume. The plot felt a bit repetitive and some character arcs were underdeveloped. I hoped for better from this light novel series.

Intriguing continuation of the saga
I just finished volume 2 of Reborn to Master the Blade and it did not disappoint! The character development is fantastic, especially the growth from Heroking to an extraordinary squire. If you loved the first volume, you'll definitely enjoy this one just as much!
