Der Autor entwickelt eine erstmals geschlossene Konzeption der rechnergesttzten Qualittssicherung (CAQ) und beschreibt deren Einbindung in die CIMUmgebung (PPS/CAD/CAP/CAM). Die Ausgestaltung der Qualittssicherung orientiert sich an den konfliktren Zielsetzungen "Geringe Kostenverursachung" und "Hoher Wirkungsgrad". In der Arbeit wird der Beitrag des EDVEinsatzes zur Auflsung des daraus resultierenden Dilemmas der traditionellen Qualittssicherung untersucht. Hierzu werden neben den technischorganisatorischen insbesondere die wirtschaftlichen Aspekte einer CAQImplementierung herausgestellt. Das breite Spektrum der CAQRechneruntersttzung wird durch die Bildung von Produktionstypen anhand alternativer Ausprgungen der Strukturmerkmale Prozetyp, Produktart, Beschaffungsmodus, Automatisierungsgrad sowie Unternehmensgre und den daraus resultierenden spezifischen CAQEinsatzschwerpunkten veranschaulicht. Die Entwicklung einer idealtypischen CAQKonzeption wird ergnzt durch die Untersuchung eines CAQSystems in einem Unternehmen der Automobilzulieferindustrie sowie die Analyse der Mglichkeiten zu dessen Ausbau.
