Die Saarbrcker Arbeitstagung 'Rechnungswesen und EDV' findet dieses Jahr zum 11. Mal statt und ist zu einem etablierten Treffpunkt von fortschrittlichen Praktikern, Systementwicklern und Wissenschaftlern auf dem Gebiet des Rechnungswesens und Controlling geworden. Von den Arbeitstagungen sind weitreichende Impulse zur Entwicklung von neuen Anwendungssystemen auf dem Gebiet des Rechnungswesens ausgegangen. Dies gilt insbesondere auch bezglich des Einsatzes neuer DVTechnologien. Es ist zu erwarten, da zunehmend Informationssysteme fr die Informationsverarbeitung entstehen werden. Derartige MetaSysteme, in denen Strukturen und Ablufe des Informationssystems dokumentiert und EDVgesttzt gesteuert werden, sind fr das Informationsmanagement unabdingbar. Sogenannte Prozeketten und Unternehmensdatenbanken sind ein Instrument, um diese Ablufe zu dokumentieren und stellen damit auch eine Herausforderung fr das Controlling dar. Ein weiterer konkreter Vorschlag fr die Durchfhrung einer Kosten und Leistungsrechnung in der Datenverarbeitung findet sich in diesem Tagungsband. Das Analysefeld des Controllers wird durch die zunehmende Tendenz kostenstellenbergreifender Prozesse stndig erweitert. Damit einhergehend ergeben sich neue Anforderungen an die Methodik des Rechnungswesens und des Controlling. Dies ist verbunden mit einem Wandel der Kalkulationsobjekte, deshalb das Leitthema der diesjhrigen Veranstaltung. Es gilt, die Kostentransparenz in den direkten und indirekten Leistungsbereichen zu erhhen, die Produktkalkulation zu verbessern und damit strategische Fehlentscheidungen zu vermeiden. Weitere Themen des Bandes sind die Funktionskostenrechnung, Konzeption und Realisierung von ControllingInformationssystemen, Broautomation, Internationalisierung und Standardisierung. Aus aktuellem Anla soll abschlieend auf die Probleme der DDR unter ControllingAspekten eingegangen werden.
