Die meisten Gewalttaten richteten sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt gegen Fremde. Einen regionalen Schwerpunkt stellen hierbei die ostdeutschen Bundeslnder dar. Dort konzentriert sich nach Aussage des VERFASSUNGSSCHUTZBERICHTES auch die Hlfte des Personenpotentials rechtsextremer Skinheads und anderer gewaltbereiter Rechtsextreme. Whrend 2000 der VERFASSUNGSSCHUTZBERICHT einen Rckgang des Personenpotentials insgesamt verzeichnet hat, ist die Anzahl der gewaltbereiten Rechtsextremen in den ostdeutschen Lndern weiter gestiegen; die Ursache soll hierbei beim Zulauf zur rechten Skinheadszene liegen. Nicht selten wird Rechtsextremismus als ein Problem von Jugendlichen dargestellt. Nach VERFASSUNGSSCHUTZBERICHT wurden gut 2/3 der Straftaten mit erwiesenem oder vermutetem rechtsextremistischen Hintergrund von Jugendlichen und Heranwachsenden begangen. Als Ursachen werden hierbei eine Verschrfung der sozialen der psychischen Deprivation im unteren Drittel unserer Gesellschaft angefhrt, die zum Entstehen von Rechtsextremismus beitragen; die logische Schlussfolgerung hieraus wre, Rechtsextremismus als eine Reaktion der unteren Schichten zu deuten. Ein Blick in die Statistik des BKA verdeutlicht aber, dass eine solche Schlussfolgerung dem Phnomen Rechtsextremismus nicht gerecht wird; anhand der Berufsstruktur von rechtsextremen Ttern bzw. mit vermutetem rechtsextremen Hintergrund lsst sich erkennen, dass 1992 43% der Tter Sch
